Yuni Shara, an Indonesian woman artist who was famous enough and become the news spotlight because of her relationship to the young television actor Raffi Ahmad.

Yuni Shara (born Wahyu Setyaning Budi in Malang, East Java, June 3, 1972, age 38 years) is an Indonesian artist (singer). She is the older sister of Krisdayanti. Her mother is Rachma Widadiningsih.

Since childhood, Yuni love to sing. She often sat in a race since elementary school. When She was at Junior high scool, Yuni move to Jakarta. The opportunity came in 1987, when Yuni still in high school, following the Star Radio & Television Festival that included 15-year-old teenager. Yuni won the second Prize for bringing keroncong song, thanks to his father’s. Two years later at the same festival Yuni won first prize. Yuni even get an offer to have recordings with other singers who joined in the Billboard All Stars.

Yuni’s first album released in 1990 titled “Jatuh Cinta Lagi”. This album makes Yuni pretty well known though his album did not Popular. At 1991 Yuni following the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland as a backing vocal for Bhaskara Band with Irma June. In the same year she released her second album “Hilang Pertamaku”. The album’s first recycling was Booming in the market.

One year later, Yuni issued her third album titled Salah Tingkah (1992). Too bad this album was spelled out in the market fail. Whereas a new song that was brought was created by katon bagaskara. Then Yuni appeared again with an album AKu Percaya (1993) and Surat Undangan (1994) which is recycled. The album repeated the successful first Recycle album.

Her career peaked when the album Mengapa tiada maaf released in 1995. The album has sold 1.5 million copies and received four platinum from BASF. In the same year, the soundtrack album of The Return Of The Condor Heroes series obtained three platinum from BASF. So, during the year 1995 She reached seven platinum Yuni from BASF.

Yuni latest album was 35 together with a book about him, 35 Cups Coffee on the anniversary of the 35th, dated June 3, 2007. The book was written by Tamara Geraldine, who collaborated with the Darwish Triadi. Among the nine songs that carried Yuni, there is only one new song, entitled “Sepi”. The song was created by Melly Goeslaw.

Now along with Ruslan Rieka, Nina Tamam, Andien, and Iga Mawarni formed five-member vocal group named 5 wanita.

Yuni married to Raymond Manthey in 1993 and only lasted about four month. Alumni of Borobudur University Jakarta majoring in Finance & Banking force in 1991 was later married to businessman Henry Siahaan, a widower with two children, a former actress and singer husband Nur Afni Octavia. Their marriage seemed to get a trial from the beginning. In addition to the age of 15 years at odds, they also have different beliefs. It also makes their marriage has no legall status for five years. Both were siri marriage since 1997 and the new date of August 7, 2002 on their marriage legalized in Perth, Australia. Four days later the couple register the marriage in Indonesia.
